Trauma & PTSD
The impact of trauma can leave us feeling disconnected from who we really are.
Wether a single traumatic event or multiple, experiences that feel overwhelming can leave a lasting imprint, shaping how you see yourself, others, and the world around you. It may feel like your relationships are strained, disconnection has taken hold, and the past continues to dictate your present. You might find yourself caught in patterns of anger, anxiety, or codependency, or struggling with dissociation and shame that keep you feeling stuck. Setting boundaries may feel impossible, leaving you emotionally exhausted and uncertain of how to move forward. If this resonates with you, know that you are not alone, and healing is possible.
In our work together, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore the impact of trauma and begin to rebuild your connection to yourself and others. Using approaches like EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I assist you in processing painful experiences, addressing symptoms like dissociation or anxiety, and breaking free from patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll work towards cultivating self-awareness, building healthier relationships, and creating a life that feels lighter, more grounded, and aligned with your values. Healing is not about erasing the past, but about reclaiming your sense of safety, worth, and connection in the present.
